Haircut

So I'm thinking about shaving my head. I want you guys opinion. This wold be a big step for me but it's something I've always thought about doing. I'm a bit nervous. Hair grows about an average of 6-12 inches a year 1/2-1 inch per month. Also it's not as if I'll be completely bald. It will be a sort of buzz cut. Tell me what you guys think.
